Our spacious 3 bed room apartment is close to the Kolkata International Airport (Dum Dum) and Train Station (Sealdah) and local tube station (Belgachia). We can also book Uber and Ola cabs for you for commuting throughout the city. The locality has well-maintained parks, exquisite street food, highly popular sweet shops and malls/movie plexes. The room has a large bed, full length mirror, air conditioning and a fully equipped attached bath. This room is nestled in a family home, equipped with high quality furnishings and tasteful decor. The open plan living room has a diwan facing a large TV set, a large dining table and large french windows which allows a cool breeze to flow in the evenings. A cleaner comes at 9 am in the morning. The building has CCTV and 24/7 security. We are vegetarian and make fresh meals every day. Delicious, nutritious breakfast is included in the price, and is a big hit with our guests! Other meals can be ordered before hand at a separate price. Our rooms are clean, well looked after with all kinds of Western facilities except the tub! We do not allow drugs, drinks, or animals in our house. Smoking inside the house is bad for your lungs as well as ours! Guest access This is a family home and we welcome you to be a part of it! As a guest, you would be made to feel part of the family unit. We allow our guests the run of the house & enjoy it when guests join us to watch TV or for tea. TV is equipped with Netflix/Amazon Prime. We have varied collection of books, fiction and non fiction which are available on request. Guests can come and go as they like, and use all appliances in the shared spaces. We also have a small area for worship/meditation. During your stay We are sociable and always up for meeting new people! We love the city and would like to help you enjoy your time here. My husband and I love to talk to our guests, right from making them comfortable, acquainting them to the neighbour-hood, nearby eateries, and giving them tips on how to best plan their stay and experience Calcutta! Interacting with guests from all parts of the world has motivated us to start Airbnb in our place. If you have time, we would love to take you out for a lunch/dinner or to any of the tourist attractions. Most of guests visit us when they happen to be in the city because of the friendships we have built! Other things to note We leave up to the guests, if they like to left alone, we would be happy to do so. They are welcome to reach out to us in case they need help.
