The accommodation is at the ground floor in a beautifully renovated house located in Reykjavik-Capital region, centre of charming Hafnarfjordur. Great ocean view overlooking harbour, 5 min walk to restaurants and coffee shops, and to a small shopping mall. Also 5min walk to a central bus stop that takes you to downtown Reykjavik and/or to local and international airports. Driving downtown Reykjavik, only 10-15 min. non-rush hour. The space An exclusive apartment/suite for guests on the ground floor in a beautiful renovated House . Once booked, the apartment/suite on ground floor, with a private entrance on the north side of the house (from garden level), is yours. Note that ground floor apartment is totally private for our guests and with a private entrance, bedrooms,/ rooms, bathroom and a kitchenette, all is totally private for our guests/your group, when booked. On the main floor there is the kitchen and a beautiful dining room of the house available to our guests. There are no other guests staying in the house at the same time. so there is no sharing. Please note that the owners ( me and my husband ) are living on the third floor of the house and we use the main floor/ entrance ( facing the street) etc. The house and garden is recently renovated in a beautiful way. Interior is classic modern, this is a charming villa with a beautiful garden, that we love to share with our guests. The private suite ( guest suite) on ground floor has two rooms, both rooms with beautiful garden view overlooking the ocean. The house is well situated in the centre of Hafnarfjordur, Reykjavik Capital Region, above and overlooking the harbour. Only few minutes away there are both outdoor and indoor swimming pools, Blue Lagoon approx. 30 minutes drive, beautiful nature at the doorstep and yet close to the city centre of Reykjavik. A bus to the international airport and to Reykjavik city centre stops less than 5 min. walking distance from the house. Guest access The guests have access to a beautiful garden with garden furniture, big trampoline /playground in the summer season. There is are horse rentals in the neighborhood and there is a golf course nearby, viewable from the house. Restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, book shops, banks, pharmacy, post office and a tiny grocery store as well as shops with Icelandic clothing and souvenirs, all within a few minutes walking distance. There is a bus stop and pick-up/drop off for organised tours only few min. walking distance from the house. Other things to note On f_b, you can join us at our pg. Note that the ground floor and the main floor, where the kitchen is located, are connected with an interior staircase.
