House Two

This beautiful villa is situated on a cliff overlooking the Tirrenean sea, just 15 minutes down the coast from the historical city of Tropea. It is perfect for couples travelling alone or with kids or even for a group of friends. The space The four acre property was once the home of Italian writer, Giuseppe Berto. The property has remained in the family and is now managed by myself and my parents. The villas were uniquely built on the beautiful cliffs of Calabria, overlooking the sea, a refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but still close to amenities such as bars, restaurants and grocery stores. The private beach can be reached from within the property, via a staircase (400 steps) built directly into the cliffs, otherwise only accessible by boat. Our 8 other villas are located on the same property. They are all independent, self-contained structures. Each has an exclusive, private outdoor area. Guest access Guests have access to our veggie garden and fruit trees (seasonable availability), and of course access to the private beach. In addition, there are many activities available at the nearby beaches including snorkeling and diving. There are agriturisms that can be toured, horseback riding, day trips to the Eolian Islands (3 hours by boat), and of course the beautiful, ancient city of Tropea. Other things to note Please note there is one queen size bed and two single beds. Upon request, we can put a queen bed in the second bedroom instead of the two single beds.
