Description

The apartment is located in a hotel directly on the central car-free village square and impresses with the fantastic Alpine panoramic view. It consists of 4 modern rooms (3x bedroom with bathroom and 1x living room/kitchen) and has a fully equipped kitchen with dining table for 8 people, as well as 2 balconies (south-facing view over the Rhône Valley, north-facing view of the village square/mountain). The ski slope ends right in front of the hotel. The gondola is a 500 m walk, bus or via 2 lifts by ski. The space The friendly, sun-drenched apartment is located at the end of the hotel corridor and is self-contained through a separate entrance. It consists of four former hotel rooms, one of which was converted to the kitchen/dining area/living room and connected to a bedroom by a sliding door. In two rooms there is a double bed, in the other a triple bunk bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower/tub, which is especially beneficial for families with grandparents or multiple children. It has all the amenities you need on vacation and, thanks to its central location in the village, offers the possibility that everyone gets their money's worth and can move independently of each other. We have been coming to this place every year for 2 generations and have completely renovated the apartment for us in 2019. It is furnished with high-quality furniture, as we want to feel comfortable in it ourselves. The indescribably wide Alpine view over the Rhône Valley in both directions is fascinating every time. Because the rooms are in a hotel complex, you have access to various amenities, such as the hotel bar or restaurant, which can be used as desired. A heated ski cellar is available. Guest access Guests can use all four rooms alone Other things to note Anzère is, among other things, a very family-friendly ski and hiking resort, located on a high plateau in the Valais Alps at 1500 meters altitude. With almost 300 days of sunshine a year, Anzère is particularly suitable for people who like to enjoy the sun on their vacation. The ski season offers a lot of this, but also in spring, summer and autumn it has a lot of activities and promotions, such as mountain bike tours or downhill carts and scooter rides to offer. The tourist office is located directly in the hotel at the exit to the village square, where you can always get advice on current activities or suggestions for excursions in addition to brochures about hikes/ski tours in the area. Here you can already get tickets and ski passes to avoid waiting at the gondola. The ski resort, which can be reached by a modern 8-seater gondola, offers slopes of varying degrees of difficulty on 65 kilometers of slopes. The "Les Masques" downhill run is challenging and has already served as a World Cup track. For snowshoe hikers or cross-country skiing fans, there are various routes on the high plateau above the gondola with a fantastic Alpine panorama or for sledding fans also the 4 km long sledding run from the middle station "Les Rousses" parallel to the ski slope. Sleds can be rented anywhere in the village or directly at the lift. Also skates for the ice rink in the village square. Up in the ski resort there are two restaurants with a nice flair as well as a few huts with small specialties and hot drinks. Outside the ski season in summer, autumn and late spring, a wide network of hiking trails shows guests a varied alpine flora and fauna and with a bit of luck you can see chamois, marmots or even the locally resident bearded vulture. Many walks, such as the Petoli Route, can be reached directly from the village and lead along the Bisses d'Ayent. Incidentally, just a few kilometers away in Botyre is the Musée Valaisan, which tells more about the history of the Bisses. Also worthwhile are excursions to Lake Tseuzier, where you can enjoy delicious small dishes in the locality, or to the 5 small lakes of Arbaz, around which you can take a nice leisurely walk. Afterwards, it is recommended to stop in at the local restaurant with excellent quality food. If you like it adventurous with a little thrill, we strongly recommend the hiking trail at Torrent Neuf with its 4 suspension bridges, each around 100 m in length. It's absolutely worth it! The place charges a tourist tax. This is SFR 5.50 per adult and SFR 2.75 per day for children. It is to be paid separately to the landlord by bank transfer or PayPal. From May to October, the tourist tax includes discounts for the use of the gondola, the swimming pool and local public transport.
