On our property, you will find animals, a vegetable garden, and cozy spots. The area is perfect for recreational activities along dikes, rivers, and floodplains. Want to retreat to your trailer or relax in the hammock? Then you are also in the right place with us. Everything is nice and back to basics, but everything you need is there. The space In the spring of 2019, we had the idea of transforming two RV trailers into cozy places to stay. It has been a long process, but we now rent out 3 unique places that are very popular! We put a lot of creativity, love, and repurposed materials into it. The caravan is a wonderful place for you alone or for the two of you together. The caravan actually has everything you need. For example, cooking utensils and towels for showering. Even the bed is made for you upon arrival! All the trailers have their own space. That way, you can retreat with a book or to listen to the birds. You can sit comfortably under the canopy by your trailer, even when it's raining. There are hammocks for relaxing in, for shared use. There is a bathroom and toilet that you share with the guests from the other trailers. You will also find the colorful outdoor countertop. You can do your dishes here. Vegetable gardening and farm animals are our hobbies. Feel free to take a look at the animals and ask for some fresh vegetables from the garden. Want to hit the road? The dike, which borders our property, is perfect for walking or cycling along the river and through the floodplains. The Klompenpad route runs past our property, so you can start right away! There are several cozy dining options in our village, such as “Bij van alles een bietje” (a coffee shop and lunchroom with a cozy, homey atmosphere) and “Onder de Groene Hemel” (a tea garden, a personal favorite, offering delicious homemade treats and lunch). Outside our village, there is also plenty to discover, taste, and experience! There is an information folder in your caravan. Follow us @y_ourhome for more experience. Guest access Are you coming with your own transportation? You can just park (for free) along our property. You will receive instructions for this one day before arrival. Coming by public transport? The nearest bus stops are located in Dreumel and Wamel. We can pick you up/drop you off here for a small fee. When you arrive, we will personally give you a tour. We also live on the property ourselves, in an old farmhouse. This is where I live with my mom, my sister, and my boyfriend. We all have our own space in the house. Other things to note - Please note! Our location is NOT in Alphen aan den Rijn. This is an error in the system. We are located in Alphen aan de Maas (Gelderland). - We live at the end of a small village. It's pretty quiet here. However, our property adjoins the road and the garden of the neighbors. So you will hear cars driving by, a dog barking occasionally, and the neighbors mowing the lawn every now and then as well. - There is a lot provided in the caravan for your stay. For a list of all the amenities available during your stay, please see the section titled: Amenities. This will prevent you from taking too much with you. - The dimensions of the bed: 51 x 77 inches (nice and cozy!) - We live with respect for nature. We ask that you separate your garbage as indicated in the information folder. This is located in the caravan. - Together, we keep the sanitary facilities clean and fresh.
