This off grid Hygge log cabin sits in the beautiful village of Langwathby in Cumbria. The cabin sits close to and above the river Eden, with stunning views and the chance to have total time out to relax or explore. Nestled in the Eden valley, it is very close to explore the Lake District or the Pennines and not far from the Scottish border. Transport is easy, 5 minutes from jct 40 at Penrith, on the A686. 1.5 hours from Newcastle and a 10 min walk from the Carlisle/Settle/Leeds station line. The space This off grid log cabin boasts simple luxuries and an abundance of space and the feeling of being absolutely private yet very close to amenities. The cabin is a bedroom and sitting space for 2 persons. The large decking area extends out from the door with outstanding views and privacy. There is a wood fired Swedish hot tub to relax and soak up the view and peace and quiet. An outside covered kitchen provides generous space to cook and unwind, there is hot water to the sink and a gas hob to cook. A gas powered fridge ensures the food and drinks are kept cool. Attached is a separate gas powered shower to facilitate the stay. There is an Earth composting toilet separate again to experience the off grid experience. All facilities are powered by solar panels and batteries or gas, wood for the hot tub. The cabin has a Norwegian gas stove which is easy to use and heats the space easily. There are 3 options for length of stay. The first is a minimum of 2 nights during the week. The second is Friday afternoon from 3pm to monday morning 10am. The 3rd is the whole week booking. Towels are provided. Other things to note The options for staying is a minimum of 2 nights during the week. Ideally Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday. The weekend booking is from 3pm Friday afternoon to Monday morning 10am checkout. Alternatively the whole week can be booked.
