A cosy family holiday home.

Please note: it is the right half of the house in the main photo. A really homely, cosy feel to relax and play, with space and views. 4 bedrooms, 2 balconies, garden front and back. Only 8 minutes by car from the resorts of Superdevoluy and La Joue du Loup. IMPORTANT Please note that to keep costs down we can only accept reservations if YOU AGREE TO BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS AND TO CLEAN THE CHALET BEFORE YOU LEAVE. We regret this condition but it is impossible for us otherwise. The space A large contemporary semi-detached house. We have the right hand side, the left hand side is owned by a delightful French family. Ideal for skiing or other wintersports when the snow is here. This is our family home and not a ski chalet, NO sofabeds and NO poky kitchen! Surrounded by mountains, the Devoluy is not as frequented as the big Alpine areas, shhh... it's our secret! Within minutes you can ski, climb, via ferrata, bike, walk, mountaineer, pothole, eat, drink, relax and use the new large spa at Super! Calm and mountains out of season but Summer and Winter high season fun in the two local resorts, both only minutes by car, with swimming, activities, markets and sports. Great new sports centre and super spa centre too! All amenities are on hand but I should mention that wi-fi connection is not good as we are in the mountains. WE usually have no wifi for guests in the house but 4G is possible depending on weather. There are computers and free wi-fi in the two resorts. PLEASE NOTE: "La Colyn" is only the right hand side of the house as shown in the main photograph. We are happy to rent for up to 8 people (no sleeping on settees or in the living room, all real beds in bedrooms!). There are steps between the ground floor and the upper floor where the bedrooms are located. The staircase is short but one guest commented it was steep - however we have had guests and family from 4 to 80 who have had no problem! Our semi-detached home is in the delightful hamlet of Courtil in the Devoluy, 8 mins to the summer and winter 'stations' of Superdevoluy and La Joue with all ski amenities and entertainments... 2 hours south of Grenoble in France. The Devoluy is very special, 'off the beaten track' and a bit wild! You will need your own transport. In the 'low seasons' Spring and autumn we can let the house at a lower rate, please ask - great for outdoor activities and you have the mountains to yourself!! Walk to the local crag or via ferratta! STRICTLY NO SMOKING/vaping in the house or gardens please. No pets or parties. Guest access All the house and grounds Other things to note Please bring your own towels and linen. WiFi is not reliable for work or downloads and roaming depends on the mountain conditions. No TV, our decision is to get back to being sociable en famille!
