Vidiciatico is the heart of the Corno alle Scale Regional Natural Park, surrounded by a dense network of forest roads and paths (well signposted) through oak, chestnut and beech forests, 13 km from the Corno alle Scale ski area (more than 40 km of slopes) The extraordinary setting of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, a region of great environmental interest located just an hour away from Bologna and Florence, offers large spaces, deep silences and wide horizons that are now very rare everywhere, therefore suitable for a vacation for all those who, even for a few days, want to regenerate the spirit in the name of health and well-being. The nearby areas of Vidiciatico and the Terme di Porretta, which can be visited on foot or by mountain bike, are places where the changing seasons are most noticeable.
