The annexe is a lovely, modern, self contained property in a pleasant neighbourhood, bordering countryside but only a 5 minute drive toTruro City Centre. It is within five minutes level walk of Treliske Hospital and a short walk to the local shop and bus stops, which will take you around the county. Being centrally located in Cornwall, you are not far from either North or South coast, many attractions and beautiful beaches. You are minutes away from Truro Golf and tennis clubs. The space The Annexe has an open plan living space with a reclining sofa, large 50" HD smart TV with Netflix, Amazon, etc and cupboard holding DVDs and books for your use. The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, grill, microwave, toaster, iron and washer/dryer and is fully equipped for all your cooking requirements. The double bedroom is modern and bright with a comfortable double bed which has a Milly mattress. It has a 32" Smart TV with all the relevant apps. There is a built in wardrobe with many hangers for clothes and an Ironing board. There is a large ensuite bathroom with a shower. Outside is a small sunny patio area with table and chairs. There is a reserved parking space designated for the Annexe guest but there is also on street parking between the hours of 4pm and 10am and all day Saturday and Sunday. Guest access Truro itself is a lovely market town (well actually a city) with lots of interesting things to do. On every Wednesday and Saturday it holds Truro Farmers Market 8.30 - 4pm, where people bring their home made produce. There is also a pannier market off the Piazza and Lemon Street Market with its independent traders and where you can visit the Atrium Gallery. We also have our beautiful cathedral well known for its concerts. You can also now book a show or concert at the newly refurbished Hall for Cornwall. Cornwall is surrounded by coastal walks and trails for ramblers. There are many cycle routes including the Bissoe Trail going from coast to coast (Devoran to Portreath) and is only 5 miles away. Cornwall is also a great place for sea fishing either by boat, along many of the beaches and from the rocks or piers and harbours. From Truro you can catch a boat trip down the River Fal around Carrick Roads and to Falmouth and St Mawes throughout the summer. Other things to note As the Annexe is within minutes of the Royal Cornwall Hospital it is ideally situated for people needing to visit loved ones who have been taken ill and are needing a place to stay whilst they recover. Also the Annexe is ideal for anyone needing a place for a short stay whilst working at the hospital.
