Also ideal for holidays in the quiet of the countryside, the cottage is located within the walls of the former 10th century monastery of Sant’Angelo in Panzo. Now it's a bound private villa. The centenary olive groves that surround it, produce one of the best organic oils in the region. The space A place rich in history, Sant’Angelo in Panzo was built on the ruins of a Roman settlement. This was the first convent that hosted Ste Clare and where, according to the writings, she performed her first miracle. In its long existence, which is part of the historical, artistic and religious heritage of Assisi, it has been a convent, an abandoned hermitage, a patrician residence, a rural house. However, it has always maintained its original structure with the chapel and its sources that have given water to Assisi since Roman times. These springs are still visible today.
