Dots Cottage

Dot's Cottage is a Fishersman's Cottage which was built in the 1750s by the owner of a fishing schooner. It is traditionally styled with many quirky talking points. This Brixham holiday cottage is set in a quiet garden shared with another 4 cottages and within 2 minute's walk from the hussle and bustle of Brixham's beautiful harbour, and walks around Torbay and the Devon Coastline The harbour area has an array of interesting shops, eating places and probably the best fish and chips in England! The space The living accommodation comprises of a cosy lounge wth woodburner and Smart TV with netflix and WiFi. The lounge leads through to beautiful cottage kitchen/Diner with an array of kitchen units, Aga type cooker, fridge freezer and Microwave. The Cottage also benefits from a washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and all the esentials needed for a happy stay. From the kitchen there is a fairly steep original oak staircase leading to the first floor bedrooms and shower room/ WC. The master bedroom has a king size double bed and the second bedroom has a small double and a sea glimpse. A blow up single air bed is also available. Upstairs includes a WC and large walk in shower. The master bedroom opens directly onto the top of the stairs which may not be suitable for small children but the bathroom and second bedroom can be separated from the stairs by a stair gate. Outside the front door opens onto a sunny communal garden with seating areas, one of which is allocated to Dot's Cottage. The accommodation accepts one dog which must be kept on a lead at all times when in the garden area Guest access The property is for the private use of guests oonly. The garden is a communal one but there is a table and chairs outside the house on the patio for use by guests only. Access from the road to the garden is down two steps and a narrow path, the garden is not visible from the road. A parking permit is available for a single car to park in the marina multistorey car park 6 mins walk away free of charge. Parking is also available in roads close to the cottage and you can pull up outside to load and unload Other things to note There will be tea and coffee available on arrival. The cottage is cleaned by a professional cleaning company between lets to Airbnb's enhanced cleaning standards. The cottage is sits on the edge of the Brixham Harbour 'bowl' with its hilly streets and some steep steps.
