Cottage House Hidden in the Majestic Douro Valley

This stunning Mountain Cottage rental sleeps up to 4 guests for beautiful Portuguese retreat. The cottage is located in an almond tree field with stunning views of the Portuguese mountains and Douro Valley 800m. My husband and I are the current caretakers of my ancestral heritage propriety that dates almost 200 years. We are honored to host you as it contributes to its maintenance and preserving our ancestral past, as a light for the future ones. The space The property is 9 hectares of land with 2 houses and one almond trees orchard. The houses are looking South East- South overlooking the big Douro Valley, yet we can not have sightseeing of Douro river, because we are very high 840 m up in the mountain. The house that we rent for Airbnb its the small one and it used to where people kept the animals on a not so distante past. It was remodulated in 2014, all equipped. There is air conditioning (for summer) and there is central heating (for winter). From the house you have the orchard going down hill with amazing views over the mountain landscape. Guests have bathroom which has a shower, a toilet, and a sink. There is a full kitchen which guests can use to prepare meals. Other amenities on-site include Wi-Fi, a barbecue, a washing machine, and heating wood stove. These amenities and the spectacular location of this cottage rental make this the perfect place for a romantic vacation or a weekend getaway from Porto. There is a Dome Tent that I use for my meditation and self care rituals. Any one is welcomed to used it as well for your own self care rituals. Guest access all the common area of the property orchard and the guest house which is separated from main house . Independent house Other things to note FOOD PREPARATION We provide with supplies for you at no extra cost: Tea, coffee, sugar, salt, herbs, herbs from our garden, Olive oil, spices and local fruits (depending of the season) You only have to buy your food to cook. Anything that is missing we provide to you. You don't have to go down the valley to buy it PS. There is possibility for 6 people party. The 3rd room is at the Dome tent.
