Charming apartment in a quiet area for hiking

Perched on its hill of the Pyrenean foothills, overlooking a charming Bearnese village (where General Pommiès and Titouan Lamazou lived), on the edge of the meadows and the forest, our 60m2 apartment converted from an old farm can accommodate a couple or a family with children (2 to 6 people). Ideal for outdoor sports enthusiasts (hiking, mountain biking) from a trail on the hillsides, you can observe the animals or rest in peace. Optional paddock/box for your horses. The space The apartment includes : • An atypical ranch-style room with a double bed. • A modern living room with exposed stone wall with 2 benches (sleeps up to 4), a large bay window with lovely open views of the village and the Béarn countryside, a TV-TNT and DVD player with DVD loan among a collection of "classic " movies and cartoons, and kitchenette (fridge, dishwasher, microwave grill). Wifi possible. • A spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and a sink. • A separate toilet with handwasher. Non-smoking accommodation. Bicycle borrowing possible. WiFi possible. The possibility to bring your horse to the meadow can be considered at certain periods, price on request. Possibility of lending an umbrella bed. Sheets, duvets and bathroom linens are provided. If the weather is nice, you will be amazed by the Pyrenees mountain range. It is wonderful to discover them at the turn of a path in our village; a village where biodiversity is remarkable, I have already observed over the years a number of animal species (apart from cows, horses, sheep, goats that you could meet): herons, owls, griffon vultures, woodpeckers, jays, tits, wood pigeons, salamanders, stag beetles, rhinoceros beetles, rosalia longicorn... If you like raw milk, you can go and get it from the farm a little further up the street every morning. Lots to see or do in the surroundings and quiet to rest.
