Description
Perched on its hill of the Pyrenean foothills, overlooking a charming Béarnais village (where General Pommiès and Titouan Lamazou lived), on the edge of the meadows and the forest, our 60 m2 apartment furnished in an old farm can accommodate a couple or a family with children (2 to 6 people). Ideal for outdoor sports enthusiasts (hiking, mountain biking) from a trail on the hillsides, you can observe the animals or rest in peace. Optional meadow/box for your horses. The space The apartment includes: • An atypical ranch-style bedroom with a double bed. • A modern living room with exposed stone wall with 2 sofa beds (sleeps up to 4), a large bay window offering a nice unobstructed view of the village and the Béarnaise countryside, a TV – TNT and DVD player with DVD loan from a collection of "great classics" films and cartoons, and kitchenette (fridge, dishwasher, microwave grill). Wifi possible. • A spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and sink. • A separate toilet with washbasin. No smoking allowed. Bicycle rental possible. Wi-Fi possible. The possibility of coming with your horse to the meadow can be considered at certain times, price on request. Possibility of loan of a folding crib. Sheets, duvets and towels are provided. Cleaning to be done by you before your departure. Guest access Parking, staircase, shared landing. Other things to note "Pau is the most beautiful view of land in the world," wrote Lamartine. If the weather is good, you will be amazed by the Pyrenees mountain range. It is wonderful to discover them at the turn of a path in our village; a village where biodiversity is remarkable, I have already observed over the years a number of animal species (apart from the cows, horses, sheep, goats that you might meet): herons, owls, griffon vultures, green woodpeckers, jays, tits, pigeons, salamanders, stag beetles, rhinoceros beetles, Alpine longhorn beetles... If you like raw milk, you can go to the farm a little further up the street every morning. Lots to see or do in the area and peace and quiet to relax.
