The Old Steam House

The Old Steam House (originally built to house a vintage steam-powered car) has been newly converted into a gorgeous, detached, architect designed 1 bedroom property, set in the mature garden of a large Victorian house. The granite building is light and airy with large south-facing windows, high ceilings, wood burner, kingsize bed, excellent shower and underfloor heating throughout. We are a 2 minute walk to the village shops and pub. We have fibre cable to the premises so very fast Wi-Fi! The space The Old Steam House comprises a large, open plan living/dining room with south-facing French doors, a wood burner, TV and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. We provide teabags, ground coffee, sugar, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. The bedroom has a kingsize bed with a top quality mattress, an all goose down duvet and freshly ironed bed linen. The en suite shower room has a huge walk-in power shower. Towels, soap, shampoo & conditioner are provided. There is underfloor heating throughout, with a thermostat in each room. The cottage has its own garden area with outdoor seating and BBQ. There is also a dedicated parking space, and extra space if required. Other things to note The Old Steam House is cleaned to a very high standard. Keys are to be collected from a key-safe.
