Both carriages at Caemanal are located within a quiet, rural, family farm setting two miles from the small university town of Lampeter, just off the main route to Tregaron (A485.).The Doric folly ‘Twr y Dderi’ and the walking routes of Long wood are within walking distance of Caemanal. The space The location offers a rural getaway for guests in a small field site boasting a large fire pit, seating area and lovely views across the valley and farmland. Cae (field) Manal ( broom as in shrubs) is the name of the field in which the carriages are located. Guest access Guests have full use of the field enclosure and fire pit area. A well stocked woodshed is located on site and guests have free access to the wood in order to fuel the wood stoves and fire pit. Access to the farm fields may be granted on request, pending health and safety considerations relating to machinery and livestock. If perchance you require to work remotely during your stay we are unable to provide wifi, but rest assured we have a strong 4G signal which will allow you to use a dongle to stream online. Other things to note Well behaved dogs are very welcome at Caemanal, however guests are respectfully requested to ensure that their dogs are kept under strict supervision near livestock. Lampeter (Llanbedr Pont Steffan or Llambed in it’s shortened version) and it’s environs is a vibrant first language Welsh speaking area and there are copious opportunities for Welsh learners to practice and further develop their language skills in the community.
