In winter and spring, you can enjoy the view of frozen lake and snowy landscape. If you like cross country ski, you can start from the doorstep and go around the famous kirkkolampi track or go further using the several ski tracks that go around Rovaniemi. In summer and autumn, the track going around the pond is a perfect place to walk and see many kind of birds, squirels and other animals.
