Description
Set between the Brecon Beacons and the Gower Coast, with 10 acres of meadow bordered by a small river The Annexe offers the perfect getaway for dog owners and nature lovers alike. We have a huge variety of wild flowers and bird life and our dark skies offer perfect opportunities for star gazing. We are rural but not isolated and surrounded by castles, beaches and the National Botanic Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon. The space The Annexe is attached to the main house with three steps leading to the entrance. It has a south facing front terrace that is perfect for an al fresco breakfast which could include our complimentary freshly laid eggs. You can spend your days ambling around the meadows looking for the perfect spot for a picnic or sitting by the stream reading a book. In the evening you can enjoy a drink or two on the decking overlooking the pond and if it gets chilly, light the log burning fire. We have a kitchen with a convection oven/microwave and an electric hob with two burners. The living room/diner has a log burner, reclining leather sofa, , TV and table and chairs for meals or WFH if necessary. The bedroom has plenty of storage space and French doors opening on to the decking area with great views of the pond and rolling meadows. The spacious bathroom has a choice of both a bath and a shower. Guest access The property has its own parking space, a front garden, rear terrace and 10 acres of securely fenced, rolling meadows perfect for dog walking. Other things to note We are lucky enough to have the best of both worlds, a rural location but also great local pubs, take-aways and retail parks with supermarkets for all your requirements within a 10 minute drive.
