Description
Set in the beautiful rural Herefordshire countryside, next to the Welsh borders, The Garden Cottage is approached over private tracks. (These are well maintained but please drive slowly). The cottage overlooks beautiful scenic farmland. Come and relax. The only sounds you hear are farm animals and bird song. The Garden Cottage is up on Ewyas Harold common, surrounded by its own land and the butterfly conservation fields. It is about half a mile away from the popular village of Ewyas Harold. The space A tranquil cottage set on a hill overlooking beautiful views of farmland and hills. There should be everything you need in the cottage for your stay, but if you need anything else please just ask. My guests love to sit out on the balcony, in the really big comfy chairs, listing to the birds, reading a book, or at night, wrapped in a blanket, star gazing. Guests are welcome to roam about my land, onto the butterfly meadows, up to the common. The access to the property is through my own private gated land and is grazed by my very friendly Welsh mountain ponies, sheep and alpacas. Guest access Cars are parked in the gated yard, there is a short walk up to the Garden Cottage through the garden gates. Other things to note I am rural but only a short drive along my track or a 20 minute walk into our friendly village. The village has a shop, butchers, a lovely craft centre were they serve coffee/tea and great cakes, 2 pubs and a excellent fish and chip shop, (be prepared to wait as it is very popular, but the 2 pubs are opposite for a drink while you wait. The Dog is also happy for you to go in, order a drink, and eat your fish and chips).
