The Parcel Office, Bredenbury, Bromyard

The Parcel Office is a self-contained studio offering relaxing views over rolling Herefordshire hills. This large room includes a sofa, table & chairs, a wood stove, en-suite bathroom, kitchen facilities, a home-cinema and double bed. It is situated along the platform from the station building Externally the site features original platform lights, signboards and posters of the GWR period Rowden Mill Station is set on a quiet country lane around half and hour from Ludlow, Worcester and the M5 The space The Parcel Office is a unique space with high ceilings, beams and wonderful views across the countryside through the glazed sliding door. This large room comprises of a double bed, a sofa-bed, a table with 2 chairs, a bed-side table and wardrobe on one side. With an en-suite bathroom and modern kitchenette, it provides all the functions for self-contained living. The kitchenette includes a fridge-freezer, a two-ring hob with extractor, a microwave oven, kettle and toaster. With a projector and screen, the Parcel Office offers a fabulous HOME-CINEMA experience, benefiting from the insertion of blackout blinds on the skylights to create a cozy atmosphere. The home cinema has linked iplayer and netflix available , there is also a DVD player and a selection of films in the Parcel Office. We have fast internet a Rowden Mill Station The heating for this building is by wood-burning stove which guests operate. We supply fire wood and fire lighting materials. Other things to note We have always been committed to clean, but now more than ever! We use approved cleaning products to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. We follow a cleaning check-list which includes sanitising high-touch surfaces. These are some of the many things we do, but we are all in this together. We ask our guests to help us mitigate any risks by following some measures around the property (more to be found on our Arrival/Departure handout). As a self-catering venue, we expect guests to leave the property reasonably clean and tidy with recycling, rubbish and ashes cleared away appropriately. Guests are requested to clean the BBQ after use. Our check-in time is from 3:30 pm. Our check-out time is by 10am prompt. Thank you. We keep our charges to a minimum, but would request a deduction from the security deposit if the property is left in an unreasonable condition and we needed to bring in additional help to make the station ready again between guests. We like to be good neighbours so ask our guests to be considerate in respect to late night noise. We do not allow amplified music outside. Unfortunately, Rowden Mill Station can not accommodate pets. Smoking is not allowed at Rowden Mill Station. There is a contact list in case of emergencies. The station is equipped with smoke and CO2 alarms, fire extinguishers and a first aid kit.
