Owl barn is a single story barn conversion that sleeps up to 6 people in 1 king room and 2 twin rooms with open plan kitchen/lounge area, bathroom and separate loo. A 20 min drive from Cromer, Sheringham and Holt, we are perfectly situated for you to enjoy all that North Norfolk has to offer whilst being away from the hustle and bustle. There are fantastic walks right on our doorstep, and our small, rural, village location offers the peace and quiet you need to relax whilst on holiday. The space Our lovely barn has an open plan living area. It is the perfect size for 6 people and has central heating to keep you warm and cosy. There are 6 steps up to the front door of Owl (as shown in the photo), but once inside everything is on one level. There is a spacious, open plan living/ dining room with a kitchen in one corner. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including fridge, cooker and dishwasher. All pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. are included and we have many guests say that it is the most well equipped holiday cottage they have ever stayed in! There are 2 sofas and an arm chair in the lounge area as well as a table and 6 chairs for eating. There is a TV and DVD player with a collection of DVDs, books and games available for your use. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and large shower. There is also a separate toilet with sink. There are 3 bedrooms: 1 King and 2 twin rooms. All rooms have a chest of draws and places to hang your clothes as well as reading lights and a hair dryer. We provide a welcome basket - perfect to get you started! If you have little ones with you, we do have a cot and a high chair. Please let us know if you require any of these upon booking as we do not store them in the barn unless required (giving our guests more space)! All bed linen and bathroom towels are included. Owl has a lovely outdoor area with table and chairs and a Bbq. You also have access to the open barn which is where the shared washing machine and tumble dryer are located. There is also a table tennis table and mini golf game for communal use. Dogs are more than welcome to stay but please let us know if you are bringing a doggy friend along when booking (max 2 per barn). Doggy rules: - Each barn has it's own fully enclosed area within the larger courtyard. We ask that when you are in communal areas and the driveway that you pop your dogs on their leads as not everyone likes dogs as much as we do. - Please do not allow your dogs on the beds. Cleaning hair off of white sheets is a nightmare! - We prefer that the dogs do not go on the sofas, but if they are used to this at home, please bring your own throws to protect our furniture. - Do not leave your dogs unattended in the barn. This is unfair on the dogs and also our other guests. - Please make sure that your dogs are up to date with their tick and flea treatment before your stay with us. We are very rural, and, as with anywhere in the countryside, the fields have a lot of nasty bugs in them. Guest access There is a beautiful courtyard for you to enjoy. This is shared with our 2 other holiday cottages, but each cottage has a "private" part that is fully enclosed by low fence and gate which is partially screened by plants . Owl has a small grassy area outside too. Each cottage has a table and chairs outside for you to enjoy. In the open barn you will find another fridge and freezer as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer that are for communal use between all 3 cottages. There is a charcoal BBQ available for your or use, we just ask that you clean them when you are finished. There is also a ping pong table and a range of out door games. The courtyard is fully enclosed with the lowest point being the 3ft gate at the entrance. The rest of the area is surrounded by full height brick walls. As the courtyard is shared with the other 2 holiday cottages we do ask that you keep and eye on your dogs when in the garden area to ensure that they aren't disturbing other guests There is space for up to 8 cars, but as this is shared between all 3 cottages we do ask that you keep the number of cars to a maximum of 3 for Owl barn. We will send instructions on where to park and also guide you in so that there is enough room for everyone. Other things to note The barns are located in rural North Norfolk. We now have fibre broadband (yay). Mobile signal is still hit and miss depending which network you are on, but we have found that most pick up 4g on the road right outside the barns if you do struggle with it inside. If you have WiFi calling the you shouldn't have an issue.
