Cosy self-contained Garden Annexe

Newly redecorated for 2025! From free off street parking at the front of our house the Annexe is accessed by a gate and passageway, discreetly nestled in our pretty garden. It is a perfect getaway for up to 4 guests. It has an open plan lounge with well equipped kitchen area, double bedroom plus a shower room/toilet. Salisbury City Centre is a 30 min walk or quick drive and has regular buses. Great Base for Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum, Longleat and the New Forest. The space The Annexe is situated halfway down the garden of our detached house. Many guests have commented how peaceful and quiet it is!We have created a pretty cottage garden for guests to relax in. The Annexe comes fully equipped for both short or long stays. There are several outdoor places to sit including a patio with chairs, a bench in the gravel garden and a seat under the magnolia tree. Inside we have laid porcelain floor tiles throughout and it has a grey/ochre colour scheme. Head height is restricted in several places, so if you are taller than about 5ft 9, you will have to mind your head! The double mattress is a very comfortable Eve memory foam. Towels also provided. There is WiFi and a smart TV in the lounge area. (If you have Netflix at home then sign in and enjoy a film!) The sleeping arrangement options are just a double in the bedroom or double AND single in the bedroom, and a further double sofa bed in the lounge area. Please do note that because the acommodation is small, having the sofa bed up does dominate the living space, but it is fine for short stays. Do let me know how you want the beds in advance, so I can have them ready for you. I will provide milk of your choice, tea coffee, cereal, and oil for cooking for your first breakfast, although local shops are close by. We are happy to accommodate children, although please note that the space outside the annexe adjoins our garden without fencing and some areas of our garden may not be suitable and could be potentially dangerous for unaccompanied children (Our own children are all grown up now!) Please be with your children at all times whilst outside. Guest access You are free to come and go as you wish with no restriction as access is via a coded entry gate. The annexe sits in the middle part of our garden and as such is surrounded by a mature magnolia tree, with a pretty patio and gravel garden which you have free access to. At night you can sit outside the patio doors under the fairy lit tree. There is also a washing line beyond the Annexe for your use too. Other things to note We provide simple breakfast for your first morning, so please let us know if you have any allergies and what type of milk you prefer. If you are staying with us for longer we have a washing machine and can lend any other cooking equipment you might need. We have one friendly cat Marmite who undoubtedly will come and make your acquaintance at some point please do not encourage her in the annexe as we are trying to keep the space comfortable for visitors with allergies.
