The End House at PlanAlvy is good for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets) and those seeking some peace and quiet but not to far from the action. Want to walk in this beautiful countryside then there are plenty of local trails to explore, and we know them well having walked and run most of them. Just ask us for suggestions and guides. The space PlanAlvy sits amongst the vines of the famous Blanquet de Limoux region and in fact was once itself a wine producing domaine. Alas wine is no longer made here but the small vineyard still grows chardonnay grapes and these are sent to a local wine maker. It you are looking for somewhere quiet away from the hurly burly of modern town living then this is the place. But Domaine de PlanAlvy whilst quiet and away from the noise and crowds is only 12 minutes from Limoux, 20 minutes from Mirepoix and 30 minutes from Carcassonne and La Cite. If walking is your thing then here is the place for you. There are plenty of marked trails to wander and suitable for most people with views of the Pyrenees and Montagnes Noir. We have lots of recommendations and guides for you having walk most of them. Even our dogs know many them. Guest access We are on site to greet you and let you into the property and to show you around. There is off road parking reserved for guests at the property. Our guests are free to use any space around our property which extends to some 7 hectares. We do ask them however not to use our personal garden and courtyard immediately outside our lounge and kitchen unless invited to do so. Other things to note We provide a welcome pack for guests which includes bread, cheese, meats, fruit, tea and coffee and a bottle of our local bubbles. As you will see from our location we are not in a village so a car is necessary as there are no shops, bars or restaurants within walking distance. However we are only minutes away by car from several villages which do have them.
