The walnut tree

The Albero delle Noci B&B is located in Zana, a hamlet in the upper part of Abbadia Lariana on the eastern shore of Lake Como. We are an hour from Milan, 2.5 km from Mandello del Lario and 3.5 km from Abbadia Lariana. The portion of the house dedicated to the B&B has recently been renovated, maintaining the original type of country house and overlooks a terrace with a lake view. We recommend arriving by car, but if you arrive by train, we can pick you up by car from Mandello or Abbadia Lariana stations. The space In summer, you can have breakfast in the garden and on the terrace, enjoying the view of the lake. The part of the house dedicated to the B&B has been sensitively restored, maintaining the character of an old country house, complete with a balcony overlooking the lake. The town of Varenna is just a few kilometres away, from which boats leave for the lake. The whole area is known for the famous "Grigna" mountain, a wonderful place for walking and climbing. If you are passionate about motorcycles, be sure to visit the Guzzi motorcycle museum. Abbadia is the perfect place to swim: there are no private houses overlooking the beach. Guest access Parking is available in the B&B's courtyard, suitable for smaller vehicles due to the narrow gate. Other things to note Breakfast is included and is American-style. It consists of a very abundant sweet and savoury meal with products depending on the season and as local as possible, varied daily.
