Exclusive Home for 2 Historic Garachico

Our home was built around a traditional canary house which was completely refurbished in 2010. Guests renting the Ground Floor bedroom with ensuite bathroom have the house to themselves. In October 2017, our home was used by the four actors of the south Korean reality show "Youn's Kitchen". The space The house is built around a beautiful stone patio with a garden along one side. There is a large teak table in the patio so you can eat outside all year round. The kitchen and living room are all on the Ground Floor. The kitchen is large and modern, with an oak table that seats 8 people. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, large fridge and dishwasher. We enjoy cooking, so you should find just about every appliance and cooking utensil you might need. The living room is in what was the oldest part of the house. It's a traditional canary style construction; the roof is solid wood on the inside and the walls are very thick. The fireplace is ornamental and not available for guests to use, for safety reasons. There are plenty of books and DVD's as well as traditional games like ludo, draughts and cards. There is a small guest bathroom for visitors adjoining the living room. Facing onto the patio on the ground floor there is the Guest Bedroom that sleeps 2 people and has a full wall of drawers and wardrobes. There is an ensuite bathroom with a glass panelled shower cabinet, two wash basins, a toilet and a bidet. Guest access If you are renting the ground floor Guest Bedroom exclusively, you will have the ground floor of the house to yourself as the upper floor will not be occupied. You will have full use of the floor living room, kitchen and patio. Other things to note The house has a fibre optic internet connevtion and Wi-Fi throughout the whole house, so you can stay in touch with the people and things that are important to you. There is a good little village shop in the square but if you have a lot to buy, go to the Mercadona supermarket in Icod de los Vinos, which is 10 minutes away by car. The rubbish is collected early in the morning on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. You can place your rubbish bag on the pavement outside the front door, the night before if you want. Feel free to read the books and view the DVD's that are in the living room but please return them at the end of your visit.
