Welcome to the Winewood Cottage! Our newly renovated, bright, modern cottage is nestled in a sweet country valley in Forestville on 2 acres of property. Centrally located in Sonoma County between the redwoods and the vineyards, our cottage is a perfect jumping off point for all of your weekend adventures. The space Newly renovated in 2021, our cottage is an open space studio, and has all that you need! This detached guest house has privacy from the main house, and has a modern kitchen and bathroom, a comfortable and cozy bed, living area and private patio with a view of the property. The living room couch folds out into a bed, so the space can accommodate up to 4 guests, if you don't mind being in the same room. Enjoy your morning coffee or sunset wine on the back patio overlooking the grounds. Surrounded by redwoods but bathed in ample sunlight during the day, this private cottage is a perfect place for a retreat. A/C and space heaters are provided depending on the season and work very well :) - In beautiful, quaint Forestville, ever so slightly off the beaten path, but centrally located in Sonoma County. - 2 minute drive to downtown Forestville, with favorites Sonoma Pizza Co., Sunshine Roasters, Brew (coming soon) and Canneti. - Central location in the Russian River/Dry Creek Valley - Enjoy easy walks less than 10 minutes (about 0.4 mile) to Steelhead Beach on the Russian River for days of waterfront fun. - Quick drive to the area's best wineries/vineyards - 10 minute drive to Guerneville, 15 minutes to Healdsburg - Nearest Major Airport: Sonoma County Airport (~8 miles away) HOUSE RULES - No smoking - No pets - No events, parties or large gatherings - Amplified sound is not permitted outdoors on the property at any time - Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM through 7:00 AM - Violation of quiet hours will result in a $250 post-stay fee - Must be at least 25 years old to book ** Transient Occupancy Tax Certificate #3420N **
