Brunswick House Basement Studio

Brunswick House is situated in the heart of Aberystwyth, an historic market town located near the river Ystwyth and Rheiol. 'Aber' is a university town for most of the year and a tourist destination during the holidays. The house is one street away from the beach, restaurants, local cinema and library. It is also close to nightlife, public transport and cultural activities. With a choice of three cocktail bars and a 24 hour Spar for last minute essentials, everything is close to hand. The space Brunswick House is a terraced Grade II Listed 5-storey town house, built in the 1830s. This is a family home and not a hotel. The space is situated in the basement and we live above. We are situated in the heart of Aberystwyth just around the corner from the tourist information where you will find many things on offer. For example, the Museum, the cinema, a laundrette, cafes and restaurants, the promenade and harbour and the funicular railway. The basement studio provides guests with a centrally heated double room, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower and separate loo with hand basin. There is no full bathroom. Guests their own separate front door entrance. Due to the steep steps that lead to the separate entrance and the minimal bathroom provision the property is not suitable for families with infants and small children. Guest access Guests can check in with us at the front door. There are outside steps available at the front of the house leading to a separate entrance, but this could be dangerous in wet weather. If it's fine weather, guests are welcome to sit in the back garden and enjoy the space. During your stay I am happy to share local information about things to do Aberystwyth. Other things to note We are five minutes walk away from the beach and five minutes walk away from the train station. Parking is restricted so arriving by public transport is advised. Being located in the middle of town means that access to the shops, cafes, pubs and bars is all just on your doorstep.
