The Bird Room - Upper Court Manor

The Bird room is in the manor house, home to the Herford family. The room has a 4 poster king sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. It's set in a beautiful old Georgian house with 15 acres of stunning grounds. Ideal for those interested in gardening, hiking and slow walks in the countryside. We welcome couples, solo adventurers & business travellers looking for a country retreat, with quick access to the M5, Tewkesbury, Worcester and Birmingham. Breakfast available for pre-booking via website The space We also offer pottery and art classes. The house is furnished with traditional and modern items many from our antique shop that we had in Stow on the Wold. During the summer months, the swimming pool is open. There is also an all weather tennis court, please bring your own racquets and balls. Breakfast available for pre-booking via website Guest access in the manor house access is to the main entrance, landing and the Bird Room. Outside you'll have full access to the swimming pool, tennis court, outside fireplace, pottery studio (book online via Upper Court website), lake and kids play area, which has a Wendy house. During your stay Bill and Diana and extended family live in part of manor house and have been running Upper Court for the past 40 years offering B&B and self catering holiday cottages. Other things to note You may see Arkela, our friendly Labrador, during your stay. Upper Court has large grounds to accommodate all staying guests, whether in self catering cottages or guest rooms in Manor House. Pets are not allowed in the room.
