Townhouse in Linselles

Small typical house of the North that is called semi-Flemish... our home has been recently renovated with our little hands. There are still a few finishing touches, but we can't wait to welcome and meet new people. 20 minutes from LILLE by car, 30 meters from the bus stop (direct line to Lille), we welcome you with joy and friendliness. The space 20 min from Lille, 8 min from Belgium, 45 min from the sea, 35 min from Flanders, we are in the heart of the Lille metropolis. The house is a 3-minute walk from the city center: bakery, grocery store and organic greengrocer, press, small local shops, small restaurant, supermarket, post office, doctor... Everything is within easy reach. The house is completely renovated (with a few finishing touches!). The facade not yet and the garden is slowly recovering from the storage of the debris of the works... but little by little, the bird makes its nest... It's a typical Northern house, made of bricks and mortar... the mortar has been replaced by less mortar, phew! It is furnished through recycling (no furniture has been purchased) and we try to live there by reducing our waste and cultivating human permaculture! The bedroom is located on the second floor, on the garden side. The room was completely renovated in 2018. Blackout Velux for complete darkness, memory foam mattress, Wi-Fi or wired internet on request, a dresser is reserved for you. We live on site and are excited to meet you. There are 3 of us, one adult and two teenagers. Guest access The house has nearby parking places By bus, direct from Lille (Castelnau stop 30 meters from the house) or from Tourcoing (Place de Linselles stop), access is easy. The room is private. You will be the only ones to access it. There is no lock yet... soon!! The accommodation is our everyday home. Nevertheless, if you want to enjoy the kitchen or the living room, it is obviously possible. We live without television... but with internet! Phew! During your stay Please let me know if you have any questions. Sometimes I'm home, sometimes I'm out and about. I will make sure to welcome you as much as possible. Otherwise, one of my relatives (parent/neighbor) will welcome you with a smile! Other things to note The house is a family living space. Thus, parties are not allowed. We are not party organizers or managers on behalf of the hosts. We welcome you and offer you a place to sleep, to recharge your batteries. (Clarification related to sometimes special booking requests) Non-smoking house. Butts are to be left in the pot reserved for this purpose outside (especially not thrown on the ground or in the sewer!) We have just completed 18 months of extensive renovation work. Not everything is perfect but we put our heart into it!! We will be attentive to your comments!
