"Le Vieil Aiglun" house in private hamlet - pool

Le Vieil Aiglun is a private medieval hamlet whose only remaining buildings have been renovated into three charming and very comfortable gîtes. The site holds a remarkable position at the top of a ridge and benefits from a 360° panoramic view of Provence and the Pre-Alps. The property has a large secure swimming pool of 13x6 m (accessible from mid-May to the end of September) with a panoramic view over the entire valley. The space One of the three gîtes of Vieil Aiglun is called the "Gîte du Midi". Beautiful large house made of local stone, this gîte offers a capacity of 8 people on 135 m2. It is perfect for welcoming a large family or a group of friends. Each room has a private en-suite bathroom. All rooms overlook the interior patio and have independant access. The "Gîte du Midi" (135 m2) offers: ON THE GROUND FLOOR: - a living room with open fire, sofa and television; - a kitchen open to the dining room: the kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, ceramic hob, dishwasher, ... A large table that can accommodate 8 guests is located in the space adjoining the kitchen; - a double bedroom (two single beds of 90x200 cm, which can be put together) with en-suite bathroom; - a WC-laundry area with washing machine and dryer. 1st FLOOR: Three double bedrooms (each bedroom has two single beds of 90x200 cm, which can be put together) each with its en-suite bathroom. All the rooms of the house are arranged around an interior patio and have independent access. OUTSIDE: The house opens onto a large private garden facing south-west, with a shaded terrace, dining area and views of the lavender fields. In summer (from mid-May to the end of September), a large secure swimming pool (13x6 m) is available to our guests. We also offer a large garden shared with the two other gîtes on the property. The place benefits from breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and mountains, as well as the old Romanesque church overlooking the hamlet (illuminated at night). Numerous tables, chairs, deckchairs and hammocks are available to our guests, perfect for reading a book or admiring the panoramic views. The three gîtes each have a private garden and are completely isolated from each other, so as to respect the privacy of each. SURROUNDING AREA: "Le Vieil Aiglun" is located between the Alps and Provence, in an isolated and very quiet environment, but not far from a small town (Digne-les-Bains) offering all amenities (restaurants and shops). RATES: Rentals are possible all year round and are from Saturday to Saturday, except in low season (from three nights). The rates displayed on this advert correspond to a maximum occupancy capacity of the house (8 people). You are at home: your cottage belongs to you for the duration of your stay! Other things to note Le Vieil Aiglun is completely isolated, located at the end of a small dead-end access road. Peace and quiet are therefore guaranteed. However, the small town of Digne-les-Bains with all the shops and restaurants and its bi-weekly market is located 12 km away (15 minutes by car), and the first supermarkets are located 8 km away (10 minutes by car).
