Two Welsh yurts
Description
Two adjoining yurts let out together, on a vibrant small upland farm. Set in their own field on the edge of woodland sleeping 4/6 and 2, with their own compost loo, trampoline and firepit. Perfect for large/extended families with grannies or teenagers. Min 3 nights, starting on a Friday or Monday. We have sheep, poultry and a couple of jersey cows for milk and cheese. The space We have a small organic farm which is home to a vibrant and ever changing community with volunteers from all over the world. We do archaeology, traditional crafts, sheep farming, stone sculpting, grow most of our own food, make cheese, manage woodlands - and much more! It's a beautiful place with traditional buildings - the house is 17th century - all lovingly restored. We have jersey cows, Jacob and soay sheep, hens and bees. These yurts are in a little field of their own. These yurts are only furnished with mattresses. Please bring your own bedding/towels. Lighting is by tealights (provided) and each yurt has a wood burner. A basket of wood is provided for each and more can be purchased at £8/basket. Outside is a firepit where you can relax at the end of the day. Cooking/dining is in our lovely converted school bus 50m away, This has electricity/charging points/ fridge and a beautiful view! It is kitted out with all you need for(basic) cooking - just bring food! There is a fire bowl outside where you can barbecue food. In the farmyard are flush loos and hot showers. Yurts can be booked from Monday or Friday - the changeover days Guest access Guests have the run of farm and gardens. The chapel can be used when there are no events on. We welcome everyone into our home - come and join us for a cup of tea and experience something of community life that is lived close to the land. Other things to note Minimum stays of two nights.
