This contemporary luxury cottage sits in 10 acres of private gardens, woodlands, lake and tennis court. With views to the gardens, the lake and the Pennine fells this peaceful retreat is perfect for relaxing, wildlife watching, star gazing and walking. The local Inn serves great food and historic Penrith with restaurants and shopping is a short drive away. A truly special location with the Lake District nearby. Check out The Barn at Linden Farm House for 2 or 4 people. @Linden_Farm_ The space Linden Farmhouse Cottage is a modern space with stunning lake and garden views. You are likely to see red squirrels, roe deer, owls, kingfishers and maybe otters. Large glass doors open onto the patio where you can enjoy alfresco dining. There is a contemporary open plan living space with kitchen, dining and TV area. Upstairs is a separate, relaxation room overlooking the gardens and lake and a bedroom with ensuite shower room. You can roam the grounds which include woodland and Briggle Beck, seating areas, formal gardens and an abundance of wildlife. There is also a tennis court and if you fancy a row across the lake in our boat this can be arranged. Numerous supermarkets will deliver and delicious take away meals can be collected from nearby Langwathby. There are many local pubs and attractions including the Settle to Carlisle Railway, steamer boat trips, castles and the fabulous lake district all on your doorstep. Your to do list will be long! We live on site so we are usually on hand if you need any advice on the best places to visit. Guest access Guests can access all areas of the property and grounds. No access to the barns please. We live on site and will give you all the peace and privacy you want, we are on hand if you need anything. We have two airbnb properties on site, The Cottage is for 2 guests and the Barn accommodates 4 guests. It is possible to book both properties for groups of 6 people. Other things to note There is one other Airbnb accommodation at Linden Farm House. We ask all of our guests to respect the privacy of others and keep noise levels to a minimum.
