Appleyard Cottage. Beautiful cosy traditional cottage at the bottom of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Walk into the the Yorkshire Dales in just 10 mins from the door . Bring your dog on holiday too ! - parking space at the front - log burner - Hot chocolate station and treats - Small enclosed sunny rear garden. Fully fenced. - social club a minute walk away - Village location with a shop, and train station - 2 dogs can stay for free - cosy but sleeps 4 people in a twin and double The space Lounge The front door leads into the cosy lounge with a wood burner , record player, Sofa and small arm chair. Cosy up in front of the TV with Netflix or Amazon Prime. You can also plan your days out with books and a folder of laminated local walks for guests to use. High speed Wifi. Kitchen The lounge leads into the kitchen with compact dining table for 4. Very well equipped with an oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The back door opens onto a path that runs along the back of the cottages and to the gate that leads to the garden. We provide Tea, coffee, and a hot chocolate and treats station. Plus welcome treats for you and your dog. Garden The back door opens onto a communal path shared by the other five cottages in the terrace, then straight into an enclosed fenced and gated garden. Paved area and raised decking with seating. Bathroom Downstairs bathroom with walk in shower. Towels are provided. Stairs A small flight of stairs leads up from the lounge. There is a low ceiling to watch out for on your way up. There is no landing (bedrooms are located at either side of the top of the stairs). People with mobility issues may find the stairs difficult. Bedroom 1 - Master room Cosy room with a double bed which looks out onto the garden at the back. Hanging space. Chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 - Twin room Suitable for one or two guests with 2 single beds. Built in wardrobe Chest of drawers. Whilst the cottage can sleep four people, it is a traditional Yorkshire cottage so would be a cosy fit for four adults. The cottage works best for singles, couples or small families. Location The cottage is located in a row of 5 traditional cottages, on the main road that runs through the village, so there can be some traffic noise. The road can get busy at times. Village cafe, village store, and social club all just a few doors away. The famous railway station with its coffee shop and regular steam trains is a 20 min walk away. The cottage has off street parking at the front - if you find it tricky to get in and out there is also a village car park almost next door which is free for 23 hours Up to two well behaved dogs welcome (please bring their own bed). Please note this is a traditional cosy cottage so would probably not be suitable for very large dogs. The cottage is in the perfect location for so many beautiful places to visit. We are a short drive to Malham, Settle and Grassington. We are also just 11 miles away from the Yorkshire Three Peaks and can recommend a local guide to arrange your three peaks adventure! Guest access Exclusive use of the whole cottage, back garden and front drive parking for guests. There is a quiet residential housing estate opposite where you can pask also if you have more than one car, or if you find getting in and out of the front drive tricky. Other things to note You can walk into the Yorkshire Dales National park in just a few minutes from the cottage. There is a social club, a coffee shop at the train station, fish and chip shop, village store, gift and homeware shop and beauty salon in the village. The cottage is located on the main road that runs through the village so there can be traffic noise at the front. The cottage is a small traditional Yorkshire cottage. People with mobility issues might struggle with the stairs. The bathroom is downstairs.
