Cutie Duplex located in a beautiful and quiet square of the Old Patan, 100 meters away from Durbar Square; The apartment has 4 balconies and a prime view over a century old Buddhist Stupa. It has everything you need to enjoy comfort and style: fully equipped kitchen, airy and bright living room, bedroom with queen bed and AC, working space and modern bathroom. You will feel very privileged to be enjoying such a high quality accommodation in a vibrant and authentic area. Cutie duplex is small and cute; named cutie for a reason. Within the small space, our guests are provided with very basic things needed for a stay. Our guests can enjoy a peaceful surrounding with a religious view of Stupa in front, sunbathing and enjoying their coffee from the private terrace. Our guests are independently able to access their private terrace; but unfortunately not the garden, its a separate unit for our guests living in the ground floor. We are always happy to help out our guests with anything they may need and have a nice conversation with them. Our guests can conveniently find us every day in our Cosy Nepal Office located in the ground floor of Yatachhen House on Swotha Square or contact us in our local number, any one of us will be there for your help. We are always there in the service of our guests :) Neighborhood is quite most of the time. You hear children's playing in the courtyard, old people gathering and gossiping but no access to highways or any busy roads nearby making the surrounding peaceful and authentic. • Situated in the heart of Patan historical center (few meters off the beautiful Patan Durbar Square) • 500m away from Patan Doka (Patan’s gate) • 20 min walk away from U.N. House, Sanepa area, Kupondole area • 20/25 min ride to Thamel • 20 min ride to the airport Taxi can be found in Patan Dhoka and Durbar Square at all time of the day and night. There are two big public bus stations around (10 min walk away from us): Lagankel and Patan Doka. From there you can go down to Kathmandu Ratna Park and to many places and villages around. As a general fact, we discourage our guests to be systematically brought back by taxi or car until our front door (beside the first day of course!). The old Patan is a very fragile area and cannot handle too much traffic and pollution. You can ask the taxi to drop you in Mangal Bazar or in Patan Dhoka and have a little walk in all those beautiful small alleys and courtyards to reach our house :) You can find a traditional neighborhood; Once you have discover the old Patan, you will never want to stay in busy cities again! In the morning, you can find people (specially old peoples) taking a walk around the Stupa and starting their way in local style; influencing you beautifully. When staying in this part of town you are surrounded by Hindu temples, Buddhist stupas, monasteries , local food spots and hidden courtyards with secret paths. None of that has been deeply effected from the earthquake ;-) The vibrant local life of the Newars (the original ethnic group of the Kathmandu Valley) guarantees you a very rich cultural experience.
