Wilde Lodge - Exclusive country house

A large country house in mid Wales with 20 acres to explore. The whole place is yours - no other guests, no shared spaces. Perfect for family holidays, big birthdays, special celebrations & reunions. The house sleeps 20 all year: log fires, a big kitchen and room to spread out. 1 April - 30 Sept, sleeps 26. Three bell tents on raised decks add a further 6, plus the safari tent, long barn, open barn and grounds. Extra bell tents on request. 1 Oct - 31 March, sleeps 20. The house and grounds. The space Set above the River Teme, looking out over Shropshire, Herefordshire and Wales. Seven bedrooms, each a super king or twin; three also take two extra singles, sleeping 20. Four bathrooms, two of them en suite. A big kitchen, a cosy sitting room, and a dining room seating all 20 at one table beside the fire. From 1 April to 30 September, three bell tents on decking in the garden sleep 6 more, with the same beds as the house. We can add a bell tent village, tents or camper vans by arrangement. Guest access The front garden has a large seating area with plenty of seating, firepits and a big table for eating outside, plus a large gas barbecue. Below the house is our own stretch of the Teme - hours of roaming and exploring - and the fields lead straight onto walking trails, mountain bike trails and Offa's Dyke. The Long Barn beside the house is an outdoor space seating up to 50, with a darts board, table and chairs and a seating area. Outdoor cinema can be hired in on request. Whether it is private catering, a hot tub, guided walks, local places to visit or walks to recommend, we are here on hand if you need anything arranged. The price shown is for the house, sleeping 20 across seven bedrooms. From 1 April to 30 September, three raised bell tents in the garden sleep a further 6. They are charged per tent and arranged when you book. We can also make room for extra guests camping or in a camper van - please agree this with us beforehand, as it costs more than the price shown. We are happy to arrange private catering, a hot tub, guided walks or somewhere good to eat. Just ask.
