Central to St Ives, Truro and Falmouth, it lies just under 5 miles from the north coast and Porthtowan beach. The coast to coast cycle trail from Bisoe to Portreath is close by, with bike hire available. The area will appeal to walkers, cyclists and surfers and wildlife enthusiasts, or for those looking for an alternative true Cornish experience. Within easy reach of a family friendly beach at Portreath, Porthtowan and Gwithian, and Godrevy lighthouse perched on the rocky outcrop. Take the scenic coastal train service from St Erth to St Ives, passing the wide Hayle Estuary and numerous beaches en route.
