Pelikaan ocean facing family home with free Wi-Fi

Unwind at this peaceful and quite location amongst the dunes in a small private nature reserve in this spacious log home. The house is located in a well-kept complex on the Aston Bay coast next to the Marina Martinique, a few kilometres outside Jeffreys Bay and offers free Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Enjoy the sea views from the living room, main bedroom and large balcony and the unspoilt, white sand and surfing waves. Walk for up to 12km up to the Kromme River mouth at St Frances Bay. The space Pelikaan is a rustic 2 story log home with free Wi-Fi. The entrance to the bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the ground floor is on the side of the house at the bottom of the stairs leading to the first floor. This bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. Parking is underneath the house on the ground floor. The walkway down to the beach is on the left side of the house and meanders down the dunes and past the houses of the estate. The key lock is on the side of the house at the foot of the staircase leading to the first floor. The code will be provided the day before your arrival. Please deactivate the alarm at the top of the stairs using the green button on the remote before proceeding up the stairs. The balcony has outdoor furniture. Please use gas barbecue on balcony only and not during windy conditions due to the ever present danger of fire. This floor has a lovely open plan, comfortably furnished living area with doors opening onto the balcony and a lovely view of the ocean and a smart TV with free Wi-Fi. You are welcome to access your own DSTV Now and Netflix. The dining area has a table and 6 chairs and the kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, four plate stove and oven. The main bedroom opens onto the balcony and has a queen bed. The bathroom is next door and has a shower, bath, basin and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Pelikaan can sleep up to 6. Private parking is available underneath the house, on the ground floor. The Aston Manor shopping centre is a kilometre away and has a liquor store, restaurant with interesting kiddies play area and both indoor and outdoor seating, coffee shop with lovely baked goods, especially well known for their fantastic milk tarts, hairdresser and small supermarket selling the basic items. For general shopping several malls are available in Jeffreys Bay. Guest access Guests are able to access all areas of the space, the braai areas and the beach. Other things to note Not too many rules, just the usual for your safety and wellbeing. You are, however, expected to read the rules and abide by them. Enjoy the space but please be respectful of the environment. All noise levels must be considerate, especially at night as Houtboschbaai is a quiet residential setting where the houses are close together and we like to keep our neighbours as friends. The homestay space you are booking is for six persons. It will be very clean on your arrival, and I ask that you leave it neat and free of rubbish on your departure. No pets No extra adults or children, as overnight visitors. NO parties or events, no illegal activity or inappropriate anti-social behaviour. Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified To maintain a fresh and healthy environment, this is a strictly non-smoking house. For fire prevention and safety - please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes lights and portable device chargers. Beach towels and beach equipment are not supplied.
