Boothswood Barn in Holbrook, Derbyshire

A few years ago, we converted our barn into a light and clean holiday home, ideal for families or a group of friends. Set in the village of Holbrook which has great access to both the city centres of Derby and Nottingham or the beautiful countryside within the Peak District national park. Holbrook also offers a local shop, and two real ale pubs, all within easy walking distance The space A converted barn on a non-working farm, next door to our family home. We are on the out skirts of an amazing village with excellent amenities, shop, park and 3x pubs. Holbrook is also a great base for walking, cycling and trips to the Peak District Guest access The Barn is self contained, no shared spaces inside. The Barn is sited on a largish yard that is shared with my home, the yard is used for parking and vehicular access to our fields below so please keep an eye on children if they are outside Other things to note ** Important fire information, please read** Access to the ground floor bedroom is through the kitchen. As such, in case of a fire, the fire escape route for the downstairs bedroom is through the kitchen. If the fire is in the kitchen, the only other means of escape from this bedroom is through the ground floor window which is 90cmx90cm and 1m off the ground. Anyone with mobility issues, staying in this downstairs bedroom, needs to be aware of this prior to booking. The ground floor bedroom, listed as a twin room, has a zip link bed so can easily become a superkingsize bed if requested in advance. There is also a sofa bed in the living room if required (small additional charge applicable)
