Delightful Log Cabin in a tranquil setting

The Log Cabin is a delightful self-contained apartment set amongst the breathtaking beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park, an international Dark Sky Reserve. Located within the spacious gardens of Pen-y-Bryn Guest House, the accommodation overlooks a natural millpond with the nearby Black Mountains as its backdrop. A cosy rural retreat, the Log Cabin provides the perfect location to relax and unwind, or as a base to explore the many activities the area has to offer. The space The Log Cabin is a delightful countryside retreat, providing comfortable and cosy accommodation for two people to a high standard. Tastefully furnished to a traditional Welsh theme, the living facilities include a double bed, settee, television, dining table and chairs, kitchen and en-suite shower room. All bedding and towels are provided. Superfast WiFi is available, along with ample power-points to charge electronic devices. The kitchen boasts a modern design and is equipped with an electric oven/grill, cooking hobs, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge/freezer. All crockery, cutlery and cookware is provided, along with tea, coffee and sugar. Outside, there is a small seating area and a fire pit. Guest access The Log Cabin is situated at Pen-y-Bryn Guest House in the village of Llangorse, just 6 miles from the town of Brecon. We have plenty of free parking available, and we're just a couple of minutes walk from two local pubs both serving excellent food. Pen-y-Bryn House is the original farmhouse of Penybryn Farm, a 500-acre estate extending from Llangorse village to the foothills of the Black Mountains. Guests are welcome to walk around the farm and explore everything it has to offer. For over 60 years, the family has also run the nearby Llangorse Multi Activity Centre. An indoor and outdoor activity centre offering Rock Climbing, Horse Riding, Outdoor Activities and much more. Other things to note The accommodation is not suitable for young children. Regrettably, we do not take dogs (except assistance dogs).
