Apple Cottage at Halsbeer Farm

Apple Cottage is a gorgeous stone-built, thatched cottage in a complex of four cottages on a relaxed, rural farmstead in Devon's beautiful Blackdown Hills. Downstairs is an open plan living/dining area with kitchen. Upstairs is a spacious double bedroom and a small single bedroom with shared bathroom. It is perfect for a couple or for a couple with one child or one child and an infant. A cot can be provided in the single or double room if needed. Shared facilities include pool and games room. The space Apple has an open plan living space with a small kitchen and dining table downstairs. There are wooden stairs to the first floor with bespoke wooden stairgates to keep little ones safe and dogs downstairs. Upstairs is a beautiful double room and a small single which share a bathroom with shower over the bath. The kitchen has the usual appliances including microwave but no dishwasher. A washing machine and dryer are available in a nearby laundry room shared with other guests. Please note this cottage can sleep 4 if one is a baby in a cot. Please do not book it if you require four full bed spaces as there are only three! Thanks. Guest access Apple has a small private gravel courtyard area to the side, accessed via the front door. It has a garden table and chairs with BBQ. Guests in Apple have shared use of a lawned area adjacent to the car park and gated patio area adjacent to the heated indoor pool (also shared with other guests). The communal games room has a pool table, table tennis and table football plus a large selection of toys, children's books and games. The communal conservatory has a wide range of novels to borrow during your stay plus a wood-burning stove in case it is chilly. Outside is a beautifully constructed wooden deck overlooking the pond where you may be lucky to see ducks, moorhens and fish. Other things to note Please note during the summer holidays we accept week long bookings only with changeover on a Friday. At all other times it is a three night minimum with preferred changeovers on Friday and Monday. Thank you. The property sleeps up to 3 in beds but we can accommodate an infant in a cot in addition making it a sleeps 4. Please don't book this cottage if you need four full bed spaces.
