Holiday room "Barbara" by GutsMuths House

A lovingly restored 18th-century half-timbered house in a quiet corner of the old city center, known as the birthplace of the humanist and educator J. K. GutsMuths. Enjoy the coziness and romantic atmosphere and unique décor. The “Barbara” Room is a spacious and bright room for a couple with an open kitchen and dining area. A group of up to four guests can have an opportunity to accommodate in this apartment and in the room “Maria” located directly opposite. The space Our house is located in the heart of the old town. Nevertheless, it is very quiet and offers a view of cozy enclosed backyard. In summer you can enjoy our small garden and listen to the sound of the water and birds. Smokers can also feel comfortable there. The gates are locked at night to keep your car, motorcycle or bicycle safe. Please note that the room is on the first floor and you will have to get a small flight of stairs to the room. Guest access Cause we live nearby we would be very happy to meet you personally at your apartment: to show, explain and, of course, answer all your questions. During your stay It would be great if you could let us know what time you plan to arrive, though we live next to your accommodation. Please just ask if you need additional information or have questions. Other things to note Please be aware there is a municiple visitor tax (€3,00 night/ person) which we have to add into the room price. Good news: you receive a bonus book and you can use the local open transport for free.
