There are two options to reach the fair grounds with the public transport. Around the corner there is an Underground station - Hannover Marienstraße (U) You can take the Line 6 towards Hannover Messe/Ost (EXPO-Plaza) It takes 20 min and it's the last stop or you can take the train S4 from the main station. It is from platform No. 2. So it is train S4 towards Hildesheim Hbf and you get off at the second stop Hannover Messe/Laatzen. It takes 7 min by train.
