Shepherd's Hut at The Grange

The Shepherd's Hut at The Grange is a unique way to get away from the hustle and bustle of any busy or city life, with no phone signal and very limited WiFi, it's not like anywhere you've been before. There is optional breakfasts, and packed lunches available, and evening meal can be arranged for those without transport. The Shepherds Hut is private and snug perfect for any family, couple or individual to get away and relax. The space The Shepherds Hut, is a small, simple and cosy space surrounded by beautiful sights and things to do. With one double bed and one single bed there is a small wood burning fire in between, on which you can roast marshmallows during the colder months, and does require small wood kindling brought with you. It also has a raised decking and chairs where you can enjoy the ever changing welsh weather and often see our horses in the fields surrounding. Guest access Guests have access to the Shepherds Hut, shared earth toilet, parking space and dinning area (When breakfast or evening meal have been arranged in advance). You are also free to interact with any horses, cats, dogs or chickens and guests also have priority when booking any pony trekking experiences and other accommodations (camping, glamping or BnB) with us, around that time or in the future. There is about 10 minutes walk between reception and the Pod, if this is difficult, other arrangements can be made for the key exchange. Other things to note When getting to us you will need to follow the postcode NP7 7NP to get to us and please be advised to add an extra 15 minutes onto your travel time as the last leg of the journey is a single track road and often takes longer than the Satnav estimates. Do not put any other details into your Satnav as in the past others have done this and have been taken to an entirely different locations with similar names. The post code will bring you to an area called CAPEL-Y-FFIN. Once here please follow the signs for the GRANGE PONY TREKKING CENTRE AND ACCOMMODATION, park in our car park, walk up to reception and we will show you around and where the Hut is located. We do also provide Bed and Breakfast Accommodations, camping spaces, a Glamping Pod and Horse Riding Experiences, and if you are interested in these opportunities please ring us and enquire as it is not included in this listing.
