This cozy and informal castle from 1840 is located in the Jekervallei in Wallonia, 15 kilometers from the cities of Maastricht, Tongeren, Liège. 't Sjetootje / Château Boirs is located in Boirs, about 1 km from the Antwerp-Liège highway (E313). From the castle you have a view of the large garden with terraces. We have 10 rooms (30 beds). You can rent bedding or bring your own. The cozy and well-equipped kitchen, dining room and living room are located in the gatehouse. The space The tastefully furnished 1840 castle houses the 10 bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The Poortgebouw from 1760, which is located opposite the castle, houses the large dining room, 2 sitting rooms and an attractive kitchen. The 1.2 hectare estate has several terraces, a lawn, a covered and an uncovered ping pong table, a jeu de boules court, a volleyball court and a football pitch with 2 goals. The site lends itself very well to team building/outdoor activities. Guest access When you rent the Sjetootje/château Boirs, the entire accommodation/estate is at your disposal and there are no other guests. The cozy coach house heated by a clay stove (multifunctional room of about 50m2 with a small kitchen and its own sanitary facilities) can be rented as an extra space for, for example, a workshop, meeting, extensive dinner, etc.) Other things to note You can book the Sjetootje directly through Airbnb for groups of up to 16 people. Larger groups are possible, but the Airbnb system cannot process the cost of extra guests above the 16 standard. This means that if you want to come with more than 16 people, you must contact us via Airbnb or directly. Then we will send you a customized quote that includes the extra costs (€25 pppn) for the extra people. With us, you can rent bed linen (€12.50 per set), bath linen (€2.50 bath towel), kitchen linen (€15) and buy wood for a fire in a fire bowl (with hanging BBQ) (€30 per wheelbarrow). We also settle the tourist tax (€30 per group per night) directly with you.
