Beautiful 2 bedroom Victorian property sat alongside the River Weaver in the Cheshire Countryside. Located on a private island with 3 other homes. Reached by a tarmacked bridleway. Sat on Dutton Locks, with views from the property of the spectacular Dutton Viaduct, Dutton Horse Bridge and Dutton Sluices, all feats of 19th Century engineering. This is a picturesque, peaceful spot, steeped in history. Superb for activities like angling, bird watching, walking, cycling, kayaking and relaxing The space Located on a island with close neighbours, the house offers a private relaxing stay for up to 4 guests. There is a separate Shepherd's Hut and summer house in the garden with the opportunity to combine all three properties on the two sites (accommodating up to 8 guests in total) - Availability upon request. Guest access The full house, back garden, outside dining area and two parking spaces in the front garden. Other things to note The hot tub is a wood fired one which means it is heated by logs being burnt/ fire. Unlike electric hot tubs the hot tub is drained, cleaned and filled with fresh water for your arrival. It takes approximately 2 hours to heat the hot tub and we provide detailed instructions for how to light and heat the hot tub. You are heating 1000 litres of water and a well stocked established fire is required. Depending on availability we can offer a pre heat service as an optional extra but lighting and heating the hot tub is considered a key part of the glamping experience. Please get in touch for details. If you would like to bring your dog with you that's fine, they are very welcome. Please add a pet to your booking. We have a preference for one dog only please. If you want to bring more than one please get in touch to discuss before booking. The pet fee applies per dog and is to cover the additional cleaning, wear and tear and maintenence. Please supervise your pet at all times as the cottage is next to Dutton Locks / the river Weaver.
