Roccantica Enchanting Medieval Village Great Views

Our home on via antica 14, is in the beautiful Sabina Mountains, one hour north of Rome, with train service to nearby Poggio Mirteto Scalo from the airports and bus service directly to Roccantica. Our medieval village is a completely unique experience of the real italian lifestyle set in a village that was built in 700 AD. You will also love the abundance of hiking trails, the food, and the friendliness of the locals. Our home is very accommodating for couples, solo adventurers, and families. The space We have been renting our home for twenty years through various agencies and are very pleased with our relationship with Airbnb. After reserving the house you will receive a very detailed renter's guide that describes the amenities of the house, details about the town and many recommendations for the best regional restaurants, interesting villages to explore, and local celebrations. The guide provides photos to help you find via antica and to locate the house. It is a pedestrian village, so you will find free car parking approximately five minutes from the house. There are stairs and steps in the village that you will encounter when arriving at the house. Please keep this in mind if you have restrictive mobility issues. The bedrooms and one of the baths are not located on the ground floor. There are two good sized bedrooms with queen (matrimonial) beds, dressers, lamps etc. There is a pullout couch in the living room that can accommodate one or two people. Additional rooms include two full baths, a second salon, kitchen and two terrazzi. Satellite tv will allow you to check the news in a number of languages or to watch the local RAI italian stations. There is a radio and cd player in the living room as well. But the real entertainment lies in the views from either of the two terrazzi. We do not have wireless internet but have always had success using our mobile devices. We are pet owners and understand the need to accommodate pets, as they are family members. We will consider hosting you and your pets under the assurance that they will not cause problems for the house and more importantly for our one neighbor. The local pool and tennis courts are located in the town of Casperia several kilometers north of Roccantica. Please check their web page for openings. Guest access The entire house is at your disposal during your stay. There will be no other guests during your stay. You will not be sharing any space with others. We visit twice annually and are happy to offer our home when we are not there. Other things to note Upon making your reservation, I will provide you with a very detailed renter's guide in English, describing the use of the house. The guide also includes information on the best regional restaurants, shopping, the fitness center, and some very interesting neighboring villages.
