Welcome to No. 5 Mayfield Road!We are the ground floor flat of a 1920’s town house.We consider No.5 ideally suited to quiet couples/small families. Situated perfectly within five minutes stroll of the town centre and beaches-it's the perfect base.We have renovated No.5 to a high standard making it a truly beautiful apartment;a stunning king size bedroom, stylish sitting room,fully equipped modern kitchen,modern bathroom,cosy second bedroom. No.5 benefits from full fibre 300 enhanced connection. The space We hope you love staying in our beautiful apartment! We consider it spacious for a couple, but equally happily accommodates 4 adults, plus a cot for babies/toddlers. Sorry, no parties/loud music, smokers or pets aloud. If coming in late please keep noise to a minimum as neighbours upstairs work shifts. Please do not smoke in the front porch, or store any of your belongings here-it is a communal space with neighbours coming and going. The backyard is not for guests use, but provides access only to the back lane. I provide 1 bath sheet per person, if you require more towels, please let me know. It gets most of the summer sunshine. If you’re looking for a bbq spot -Towan beach is literally 5 mins walk away though. The back yard is owned by our neighbours upstairs, however we have right of access to the back lane. Please do NOT use this area for anything other than access to the back lane if required. There is free on street parking outside No.5 and along Mayfield road, with no parking permits in force. We don't usually have problems finding a space on the road No.5 is located on. It’s first come first serve basis parking. During summer it can get busy, but there are some further spaces situated directly behind No.5. You can get to these spaces by taking a right out of Mayfield road onto Mountwise Road, then an immediate right again up the back lane. No.5’s back gate literally backs on to these spaces, and is very convenient when unloading or loading your car up. Please note that there is a disabled parking bay on Mayfield road which is solely designated for our neighbour. Many thanks. Guest access No.5 is part of a 1920’s town house which has been split into three flats. We are on the ground floor as such, access upstairs is not permitted. The hallway immediately as you enter is not to be used to store shoes or coats. Please leave all personal belongings inside the flat. There are no steps inside of No.5, just small thresholds from one room to another. At the front of the property we have a lovely little relaxing patio garden area which is available to No.5 guests only. This is especially lovely in the summer months as it gets most of the mid day and afternoon sun. Or if you fancy relaxing on the beach, a five minute walk brings you to Towan beach. We are in the process of buying the back yard which will become a parking space. Other things to note We are 5 minutes walk from the town centre and Towan beach, but still located in a quiet residential area to feel far enough away from the bustle of the town. There is also a very convenient Tesco Express just 5 minutes walk away from No.5. Unfortunately No.5 isn’t in a fibre broadband area yet, as such streaming/signal strength may be slightly weaker during busy months.
