Cosy barn in the heart of the South Hams

A charmingly cosy and completely exclusive, two-room barn annexe. Situated in the lovely village of East Allington, in the heart of the South Hams. The barn sleeps up to 3 adults with one double and one single bed. The space The barn is arranged over two floors. On the upper floor, there's a studio-style double bedroom and sitting-room. On the lower floor, there's the bathroom and a further single bedroom cum living room. A cottage style staircase connects the two floors. There is WiFi and central heating. The upper floor runs the length of the barn with four cottage-style windows that peep out over the front garden towards the church on one side, and the fields of cows and sometimes sheep on the other. The ‘Emma’ memory foam mattress on the double bed will ensure a really comfortable night's sleep. In the sitting-room area, there's a double sofa in front of a log burner for cold weather stays. There's a wall-mounted TV, coffee table and bookcase here too. The ceiling runs into the eaves on this upper floor, so please note that headroom is restricted where it meets the walls. Downstairs, the small hallway has hooks for coats and outdoor things. Here you'll find the single bedroom cum living room with a space to sit and eat breakfast looking out over the front garden and decking. A cupboard houses the mini-fridge and microwave. There is a kettle, cafetière, toaster, and crockery. The bathroom with a walk-in shower also leads off the hallway. While there is no kitchen here, we invite you to leave all your breakfast dishes for our dishwasher to do! Just leave them in the bowl provided and pop them outside my front door as you leave to explore each day. If you’d prefer, the bathroom sink is big enough to wash-up a few dishes too. We invite you to make your own breakfast at your own pace here. We provide tea and ground coffee, semi-skimmed milk, bread, butter, honey, fruit, granola, and yoghurt. Vegan options can be provided by request when booking. There is parking on the road just a few metres away from us, and luggage can be offloaded from the small drive by the front gate upon arrival and departure. Please also use the deck outside the front door which has a table and chairs and catches the late afternoon and evening sun. Perfect for an evening drink after a busy day. Guest access Guests will have the entire barn to themselves via their own front door.
