Small, cosy double room available overlooking back garden in a comfortable, period house on a quiet street. The room is fully furnished and is adjacent to a shared bathroom. It is equipped with a kettle, tea and coffee. Linen and towels are provided, as well as a laundry service at an additional cost. There is unlimited wifi. The house is cosy, comfortable and relaxed, with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Green leaning. The arty and dynamic landlady lives in the house and is friendly, well traveled and upbeat with a zeal for life. Having been a resident of the area for over 20 years, she has a great local knowledge and will be ready to help you with anything you might need. The house is host to international guests, each of whom is friendly & considerate to others who share the space. Considerate smokers are tolerated. This makes for a dynamic, stimulating, communal house which has a unique atmosphere. All are welcome, including professionals in the media or other industries who may work anti social hours. The house is situated in a trendy and traditional area of north (website hidden) is very well located to the rest of london via the nearby transport links. Tufnell Park tube station (on the Northern Line) is a three minute walk away and this line links with the Eurostar terminal in St. Pancras (10 minutes away by tube), where you can also get direct trains to Luton and Gatwick airports. The journey time into central London is about 15 minutes by tube and the area is also well serviced by frequent buses which can take you directly to the West End, Trafalgar Square, Soho, Waterloo, Notting Hill etc. The neighbouring Camden Town and Regents Park is 5 minutes by tube or a 15/20 minute walk. Also a short walk away is Hampstead Heath, a large ancient London Park which spans just under 800 acres and boasts some of the best views over London. The park runs from the beautiful area of Hampstead to Highgate, where you will find the famous Highgate cemetery. In addition to all of this, the area is well populated with trendy pups, restaurants and cafes within walking distance. You will certainly not be stuck for things to do, but if the purpose of your stay is just to relax and have a conformable, quiet nights sleep and a hearty breakfast before moving on, then that's fine too!
