They only ring on the hour through the night. Some guests don't like this, then Lauterbrunnen is not for you but we do provide ear plugs and you can shut the roller shutters. These bells are very Swiss. In summer the cows wear bells too :) With your own separate washer, dryer, tub, some soap powder provided & bag storage room, shared ski room with own ski locker, shared Table Tennis. All-season access with exclusive use undercover parking dedicated space. Own ski locker, access to Ski work bench & wax iron (bring your file & wax) On bus line to either Schilthorn Cable station to ski Mürren/Schilthorn or Lauterbrunnen for train to Wengen/Kleine Scheidegg. Free ski bus in winter 50 meters from door. Walk is 15 min to Lauterbrunnen station with big bag on wheels. Supermarket opposite rail station, very easy. Please ask any questions as we have probably left out some info that is relevant for you and not someone else :) Switzerland is well serviced and taxed accordingly. Mostly 50% of what you pay goes to cleaning, tourist tax, service costs, and taxed rubbish bags. Please note that we are charged 15% plus 8.1% VAT(Switzerland) by the platform. This can make your stay seem costly.Please don't ask for a discount. Starting from April 2024, guests who book in a different currency than the host’s will be charged an additional service fee by the platform. This applies to people over 2 years old as per AirBNB policy. You MUST use the white AVAG trash bag provided- it is big enough to last a week. You need to squash your trash. Switzerland is a small country and they compact everything. If you need more, you can buy from the Coop shop. If you leave dirty dishes in the sink or a dirty oven/stove/Apartment, you will be charged 30EUR per hour after the 2 hours of normal cleaning. There is a dishwasher and we do expect guests to leave our home clean please.
