Gites de Chaignepain – Le Poirier – 3 bed gite

Le Poirier - 3 bedroom gite with a small vine covered patio area with garden furniture & a charcoal BBQ. You enter into the open plan kitchen, lounge, diner with exposed stone walls. On the first floor are a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms as well as a bathroom with a shower. Full of rustic character and recently refreshed and furnished with luxury in mind. Access to shared 10x5m pool and communal games/leisure facilities. Please note that there are low beams in the rooms upstairs. The space Our beautiful gîtes are converted from ancient goat houses dating back to 1803. They are full of rustic charm while providing every comfort you would wish for in a home away from home. There are are total of 5 gites onsite which share the pool, garden and facilities. We will consider small group bookings of several gites with either sole use of the facilities or shared with others. There is a fantastic heated, fully tiled, safety fenced swimming pool 10 x 5 metres with plenty of sun loungers, parasols and inflatables. The shared secure fenced garden contains children’s swings and a slide, a wendy house, outdoor table tennis and there is also a games room with air hockey & table football as well as bookshelves with books, board games and DVDs. We have lots of bikes including child sizes & safety helmets. Each gite has a fitted kitchen, fully stocked with all crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. There is a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer and full normal size oven and hob. Each gite has satellite TV so you can watch all the normal UK channels or if you prefer you can watch French TV. DVD Players are provided and WIFI is available. Each gite has its own lounge and dining area inside as well as an outdoor dining terrace with patio furniture and BBQ. All bedrooms have shelves and hanging rails, all bedding & towels are provided free of charge including pool towels. Cots, highchairs and safety gates are available on request. Unfortunately we are not able to accept pets unless by prior arrangement and only in low season October –April. In high season bookings are from Saturday to Saturday and for a minimum of a week. We are also only able to accept bookings which are a multiple of a week (e.g. 7, 14, 21 days) during high season. In low season (October - April) great deals are available on bookings for a month or longer. We have a communal laundry room with washing machines and ironing equipment and an extra communal bathroom with a bath which is useful for the young ones (in addition to the one inside the gite). We include a complimentary welcome pack with the basics and offer refreshments in a fridge/freezer in the games room available to purchase on an honesty box basis. If you require a bigger shop prior to your arrival this can be arranged upon request.
